Digger was a beautiful tri blue merle dog out of Cories China, sire was Wizaland Newz Daily. Digger went to a well recommended home when he was a puppy and it was a lovely home, the children loved him and he adored the children.
Unfortunately the people decided to bring him back to me when he was just over 2 years of age because he was "too nice" and they wanted a Rottweiler instead. I paid a princely sum to get him back. Poor Digger. He pined for weeks. He wouldn’t eat and yodeled and howled night and day. He missed the children so much.
I finally managed to get him to eat but it took several months to get his weight back to normal. He was so depressed. Digger needed stability and a permanent owner and home.
He was shown. He received a RCC under judge David Cavill and came first in a large class at Crufts under judge Kathy Burnell. He also has many BOBs.
He ran in the flyball teams Lincolnshire Leapers, Border Patrol UK, the Break-Aways and The Travelling Tearaways and was a good and consistent runner.
He also competed in Obedience but I found it was too ‘nit-picky’ and we didn't really enjoy it so we concentrated on Flyball. He loved Agility too. So do his progeny who compete with great success.
Myrk (Rancolie Dazzle) son of Bessamour Digger and Dykebar Pandemonium) is now a Senior Agility dog, as is his litter brother Rancolie Foxy Music
What a star, and what a great litter! Out of the 5 pups, 3 are competing in agility and two are now senior.
Digger was so easy and such a pleasure to live with, he loved everyone and other dogs. He constantly had a ball or a tuggy in his mouth hoping someone, anyone, would come and throw it for him.
He had a wonderful temperament and just loved people.

Miss me, but let me go
When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me,
I want no tears in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little – But not for long
And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me – But let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take, And each must go alone,
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan, A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, Go to your friends that we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good works,
Miss me – But let me go.
When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me,
I want no tears in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little – But not for long
