BILLIE
BILLIE born 24th December 2005 is a rescue Border Collie that I acquired when she was 18 months old. She is tricolour, but there is so little tan you could mistake her for being black and white. She has the wonderful half white face that I've always loved in Border Collies.
She came to me following a couple's marriage break-up and was no longer wanted. They had enquired at a well known Border Collie rescue if they would take her but the shelter had no room, and the rescue owner remembered that I had been searching for a half white face adult bitch for a long time and told them to contact me.
She came from a litter by a couple of working farm dogs.
She has a wonderful temperament, loves other dogs and people, crazy about tennis balls and toys and could be classed as nutty as a fruit cake !!!!!
She now runs with the Sheffield flyball teams. She recently gained her Chica Chicana BFA no: 0891E
I love her to bits.
OCTOBER 2017
I've retired Billie from Open competition and she is now a "non-running reserve" just in case a racing dog gets injured and the team needs another dog to be able to continue racing.
She's a wee bit tired now. She's had 10 years of excellent racing but now wants to take life a bit easier.
If she wants, she can still have a few runs at training to get her flyball fix :-) :-)

Unfortunately I had to let Billie go to Rainbow Bridge on 26th September 2018. She left and forgot to tell my heart how to go on without her.
