BAER hearing tested normal
Maid was a black tricolour (black, white and tan). She was out of my smooth coated bitch Bess Rudolfsfarm Von Halden and Wizaland Newz Daily. She was one of the most delightful dogs I have ever known.
Friendly, mischievious, a natural clown, kept her nose clean when the others were being 'naughty' and would throw her paws up in horror if anyone thought she could even think naughty, let alone be naughty.
The only thing I ever had to tell her off about, and only since Hope (her partner in "crime") was born, was raiding the bin in the kitchen. She discovered she could lift the bin lid with her nose and at the same time scoop out the contents with her paws. Then she would share her goodies with Hope, scattering whatever they didn’t want all over the kitchen floor, much to the delight of my other dogs who would 'hoover' the floor, gobbling up anything remotely edible.
I have since replaced the nice expensive stainless steel bin that could be looted by Maid with a nondescript puce coloured plastic bin that clicks shut. Maid was always studying it closely to see if it had an infallible locking system.

Show girl ..................
She looked so much like her grandmother Pershore Belle. Her temperament was bombproof, she loved everyone and every animal, very obedient and affectionate. She was my special pin-up. She had several BOBs under her belt and enjoyed showing because she got titbits from other handlers in the ring if she ogled them enough. She had her Stud Book number so was qualified for life for Crufts and was placed by judge Sheena Kilsby at Crufts in the year 2000.
I started herding with her and found her to be a nice easy dog to work. Nothing distracted her and she was easy on the sheep. She had a nice outrun and a good fetch and kept well off the sheep while driving.

They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one else could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane.
I'd walk the path to Rainbow Bridge and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But when I go to Rainbow Bridge the chain will link again.
