MEG (aka Hillside Nan) ISDS reg 00/347359
Born 18th June 2016
Having lost Billie and Kate within such a short time of each other over Christmas 2018, I was longing for another smooth coated Border collie. An acquaintance told me of Meg (real name Hillside Nan) and that her owner would be willing to let me have her, and was brought to me from Carlisle to Lincolnshire.in January 2019.
A very shy, hand shy little bitch of 2 1/2 years of age having lived all her life in an outside kennel, was very wary of all the new experiences in her life with me. Living in a house, TV, vacuum cleaner, allowed on furniture, sound of telephone and given the freedom to run all she liked on almost an acre of land with my two other Border collies, Dizzy and Shannon. It took her several weeks to acclimatise and not to use inside the house as her toilet!!!!
She picked up going out through the dog flaps to do her business outdoors on the grass quite slowly, but she got there.
Not giving any sign of knowing her name Nan, I changed it to Meg which she responded to very quickly
She has a lovely temperament, and is very affectionate. I really do like this little collie..
